We struggled with whether or not to paint our living room now or wait. To be honest it was unbearable. The sofa blended in with the color of the walls and since the walls are easier to change than the color of our sofa, we decided to paint. We went with Sherwin Williams Light French Gray.

During the day the color wasn’t so bad, but as it got later into the afternoon and into the night the room became a cave. The color was depressing and really closed the space in before. Now the new paint color brightens the room while still giving that warm cozy feeling.
In the future we plan to add some curtains to the windows and get some end tables. We also want to add a few more decorative pieces here and there. Trouble is, when you live with 2 other girls, your design style doesn’t always add up. So, we’re trying to figure out which style we plan on going with before we commit to any more decorating.
