My mom had an old desk at her work that they were planning on getting rid of, and she asked me if I wanted to give it a makeover. Of course, I jumped on this opportunity! I love when people ask me about old furniture and I don't think I've ever turned down an opportunity to give any old furniture a quick makeover.
I had been inspired by a few Mint & Gold pieces of furniture on Pinterest and decided that's what I wanted to do. Here is my favorite Mint & Gold Desk from Love Grows Wild.
After giving the desk a light sanding, I used Kiltz Primer to prime the desk and get it ready to be painted.
Then I spray painted the hardware gold and painted the entire piece Mint with Behr Seaglass.
Here's how it turned out...
